thrifty thursday

Since wednesday is a car boot day for me I have decided to do a weekly 'thrifty finds' post (mmm.....I wonder how long I will keep it up?)

pretty mop buttons, some more embroidered tray cloths, and china posy earrings without their clips

a new rose enamel bowl

and my favourite, a vintage rose deckchair, not my usual colours, but I love, love, love it.
It wasn't for sale, the man was just using it to sit on, but a persuaded him to let me have it for a fiver.

nothing to do with thrifting, but I thought I'd share some photos I took a couple of weeks ago of my rapidly multiplying potted flowers. It such a nice change from this view.

  13. I love that chair! I'm not sure I would have given it a second glance though- I do that to frequently, and always regret it. I guess my decorator brain hasn't "fully developed" yet. :P

Thank you so much for making the time to leave a comment. I really appreciate every one (even if I don't manage to reply to them all - I tend to get sidetracked quite easily) and it always brings a little smile to my face when I discover one in my inbox.
